tuve un tiempo agradable en la casa! me quedé solo una semana, pero sé que quiero regresar un día para ver todo lo que ha cambiado, porque cada persona lleva y deja partes nuevos, que hace el lugar mágico- con buena onda y gente. freddy es una persona muy amable, comunicativa y cariñosa - gracias por tu confianza 🧡 el mundo necesita más lugares como la casa!

I had a very great experience with Mika, Muko, Hanavi, Hotaru and Matsuri. The previous Workawayer explained and showed all the tasks I would do, but it was no problem for Mika and Muko if I didn't remember everything right away. They explained and showed again and Mika helped me executing when she was not so busy. We also went out to have lunch together and Mika explained a lot about Japanese culture to me. The food they prepared was always very delicious so I looked forward to have dinner with them. Hanavi, Hotaru and Matsuri are very cute dogs with a lot of energy on chilly days. The main place to take them to is next to the Yodo river and a great spot for them to run. I enjoyed the time I spent with all of them and would love to come back some day!

Having Livia to stay with us was an absolute pleasure, she was a great help around the jungle and everyone is now safer that she has been here. We wish here all best for her life's adventures and wish her a safe journey hope

I stayed with Jacky, Sadi, Sami and Leo (Sadis brother) for three weeks and had an amazing time. They are all super friendly and I felt comfortable from the very first day. It was fun working in and around the house and I learned a lot too. There was almost always a briefing for the next day so everyone knew what was going to happen which I really apreciated. It just felt like we were part of the family and not just some random people living in the same house. When Leo went to visit his aunt who lives in the mountains for a week, we were allowed to tag along which was a unique experience aswell. All in all my time in the Jungle was an amazing and unique experience for me that I probably will never forget.

FEEDBACK for Caitlin and Nathan May 2024 Our modest rural estate benefits immensely from the help of our Workaway guests. And we achieved a lot while Caitlin and Nathan were with us ! A variety of outdoors chores were tackled into submission and what with those plus clean windows and newly cleaned venetian blinds and loads of stacked dry firewood we are well set up to front the approaching winter months. As an added benefit, Caitln leaves us today with 48 excellent muffins in the freezer and a lasagne keeps company there with her cottage pie. We wish Caitlin and Nathan many successful NZ adventures over the coming months.

The time I've spent here, these six weeks, has been incredible! Judith is such a strong, empathetic, and warm-hearted person who welcomed me with open arms from the very first minute. She included me in every part of her life and cooked the most delicious meals. We went hiking, visited waterfalls, played pickleball, geocached, met her friends, learned to shoot, and much more. For work, I helped with her many projects on the farm. I wish her much success in the future and am convinced we will stay in touch. Maybe someone else will be lucky enough to have the chance to experience this amazing place. P.S. My favorite were the cows 😆 I hope the garlic grows well! With love, Ronja

It was a pleasure to host Sophie. She is positive, hardworking, and very talented on the guitar and piano. I am very grateful for the work she did clearing our bush block—it looks amazing now thanks to her efforts. Sophie’s dedication and enthusiasm were truly appreciated. I highly recommend her and wish her all the best in her future travels.

I spent a wonderful 3 weeks at Pablo's and Migle's place together with my friend Antoine. Here you can fully enjoy the tranquility and sound of nature. We helped them build the (temporary) roof on their big house, helped with firewood, did some general maintenance of the property and took care of the house while both were out of town for a week. Communication was great and meals were cooked in turn and shared. We were staying in a cozy cabin which kept us warm on the cold autumn days. We were able to use their car to visit the town of Rio Tranquilo if needed and visited the very close by San Rafael NP. Overall, we totally recommend to stay with them. You won't regret it! Hugs from us, we miss you and we'll be back one day, Chiara & Antoine

Among all the more than 20 volunteers that were here, Melisa was one of the most proactive volunteers that has ever been here. She is an amazing woman with great abilities in multiple areas like organization, management, photography, gardening, cleaning, and much more. We hugged her as a member of the family and our place is always open for when she wants to come back :)

I spent 1 month volunteering here with my Friend. It was my first workaway and i feel absolutely lucky that this school was my first experience. I don't know where to start. I met friends there and I lived beautiful adventures with them during the different trips that Harim organizes for us every weekend. And I will keep some connections forever in my heart. Harim is very nice and helpful even he was really busy when I was there, he made sure to always make himself available if necessary. The job is super fun, I've connected with so many students with the topics we had to discuss about. All the teachers are awesome with the students and very kind. Khalil is magic, thank you for your kindness, your smile, our discussions, thank you for teaching us some basic sentences in darija that were very useful for the rest of our trip. I've met so many different people that helped me to learn about myself and the world through their eyes and their way to see Life. This travel changed my life forever. I will come back in Morocco for sure and hopefully here to say hello. Thank You <3

I had such a wonderful time here—one of the best months of my trip! Tara and Trevor are the kindest, nicest, and funniest people! I felt like I hit the jackpot with this volunteering opportunity, feeling super at home and part of a family. I stayed for a month running their social media, mainly focusing on Instagram by creating photo and video content. I got to tag along with guests for surfing and various other activities. I really enjoyed taking pictures and immersing myself in the surfing culture. The work blended with fun and almost didn't feel like work! The food there was too good! I also really appreciated being around the local Nica staff—everyone was very kind and fun to be around! I fell in love with Gigante—it's such a cute little fishing town that feels much more authentic and less touristy than some other places in the area. Every single sunset is breathtaking! I also got to experience other unique moments, like a turtle release and swimming in bioluminescent algae at night. I honestly think about coming back here every day!! And hope I will at some point <3 Thank you so much for everything! I can't recommend this place enough!

I am so grateful to Steve and Rob for providing such a wonderful experience. Their home is beautiful and picturesque, and has a very comforting feel to it. Art pieces are everywhere, made by different visitors, giving me the feel that their home has been nurtured and loved for many years. Steve and Rob are both wonderful and have an abundance of stories to share. Many laughs were had by the fireplace (DIY-ed out of an old washing machine basket! Their creativity is truly unmatched :)). Mornings and early afternoons were spent weeding, mulching, and gardening, hard but rewarding work. Late afternoons and evenings were spent relaxing, doing art projects and having a delicious homemade dinner. I was even lucky enough to see the Northern Lights one evening, which we all stayed up late watching, giddy with excitement. So many unforgettable memories. I highly recommend Steve and Rob's to any prospective workawayers out there!!

we had an amazing time with ursa, marcus and the kids (and Johnny) 😄 we ejoyed the work, ursa has so many knowledge about plants and is very talented in the kitchen. we loved her meals. working with marcus was very nice, we could try many new things and did every day something else, do it wasn't boring at all. thank you for the time we could spend at your home, all the best🥰

To stay at your place was so amazing and diversified. To work with you was a pleasure! You have a paradise on earth and your family is also friendly and kind. Therefore i want to thank you Giovanna, Andrea and children for the great time and delicious meals i had!

I feel incredibly fortunate for my time spent here. Kristy and David were wonderful, kind, and generous hosts! This place is full of fascinating systems, designs, plants, animals, and stories to learn about—it's a wonderland of inspiration! From day one, I was captivated and learning so much. Kristy and David have a wealth of knowledge to share! I initially went to stay for two weeks to do bamboo work in January and ended up extending my stay by a month to take a permaculture course with Kristy. I learned many interesting things and experienced a different way of living, such as staying in a room in the jungle, using dry toilets daily, and adopting a slower pace with a focus on food preparation. Daily tasks ranged from food harvesting, processing, and preparing/cooking, maintenance work around the farm, and of course bamboo work. I also got the chance to learn the entire process of making coffee and chocolate, which was an unexpected and great surprise, and enjoyed so much amazing organic homemade chocolate! They grow all the nicest tropical things on this farm! Another aspect I really appreciated was working alongside Jefferson, the Tico neighbour who works at the farm and from whom I learned a lot! So as from Nestor who came to teach us bamboo techniques. They are very lovely people <3 I will never forget my time there, and it has profoundly shaped me in many ways. I hope I'll be back someday! I miss you all and my time there

Jacopo and Shiva are fantastic, they stay for 1 week but already missed them , Jacopo helped me with the work around the house , plastering, making concrete and a scaffold, I was very happy to have them here and we share good times together and I hope you enjoyed your stay here , I wish you a good travel back home and grazie per la tua aiuta

Dylan stayed with us for only 6 days but instantly fit right in, even though the house was really full at the time. He's such a cool guy, paragliding up the east coast of Australia! Dylan was a great help with our renovation, especially with the tough job of getting the concrete into the ground. He's super polite and easygoing, making him a pleasure to have around. I highly recommend him to any host.
